AUBURN | Gerald K. Ferguson II, 36, of Derby Avenue, Auburn, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Jerry was born on June 30, 1976, in Auburn. He is the son of Gerald K. Sr. and Jean (Morris) Ferguson. Jerry was a graduate of Auburn High School, class of 1994. He was the owner and operator of Gaetano’s Pizzeria on West Genesee Street. Jerry was also a DJ, known as “DJ Jawbreaka.” He was a past member of The Outkast Car Club and he had enumerable people he considered brothers and sisters. He was charitable beyond belief and had a heart of gold. His absence will be felt by many and he will always be in our hearts. In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by his children, Simon, Raiden, Merlin, Penelope, and Orion; the mother of his children, Noel Romeo; his sister, Kate Sprague and her husband, Matt, and their children, Wrenn and Asher; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. Entombment will be at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum in Fleming. Friends may visit with Jerry’s family from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help provide for Jerry’s children in the coming months through First Niagara Bank, “Children of Gerald Ferguson II.” Please join us to celebrate Jerry’s life.
